Looking for a new opportunity as a Quality Inspector or Baler Warehouse Associate? The SIMOS team is now hiring full-time, long-term Warehouse Baler and Quality Inspector Associates for warehouse and distribution operations. As a Simos associate, you will receive health/Dental benefits within the first 30 days, paid time off and weekly paychecks! In this role, associates will be responsible for unpacking and quality inspecting large, heavy, and bulky furniture throughout the shift, as well as breaking down heavy cardboard boxes. This position requires continuous physical activity and the ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 70 lbs. **Must have up to 6 months of Quality Inspector or Baling experience to be considered for the position.

  • Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-until the work is complete. You must be flexible in your schedule, as shift start and stop could vary.
  • Pay:$17.50

Job Responsibilities

  • Must have 6 months of warehouse experience.
  • Unpacking while Quality Inspecting large, heavy, bulky furniture consecutively throughout the shift
  • Ipad Knowledge
  • Breaking down cardboard. boxes
  • Work overtime when needed
  • RF Scanning Skills
  • Must have great Attention to Detail
  • Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic.
  • Top Quality Safety Culture, Safety actually comes first.
  • Lift product, shrink wrap, and palletize pallets in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, handle, and carry boxes up to 75 pounds or more of heavy, bulky furniture
  • Ability to carry, stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, push, and pull
  • Stand on your feet for at least 10-12 hours; reach overhead, twist, turn, and squat throughout the shift

  • Responsible for staging of orders, sorting of pallets, and loading furniture to be delivered out of the warehouse.
  • The ideal candidate should be highly motivated & reliable individual that is able to work at a steady pace to meet the schedule of production.
  • Visual capacity to clearly recognize, read, and understand standard operating procedures, signs, part number labels, and instructions.
  • Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic.
  • Sorting of pallets

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $17.50 - $17.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
