Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Technician to ensure parts meet all quality and production standards in our powder metal manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, supporting operators, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Job Responsibilities
- Approve set-ups for new jobs and job changes.
- Inspect and document part quality (density, length, weight, run-out depth, and visual defects).
- Perform scheduled checks, weighing, sorting, and magnaflux/process inspections.
- Communicate issues to appropriate personnel and support resolution.
- Audit operators throughout the plant for process adherence.
- Maintain accurate records for material certifications.
- Order supplies and perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Safely use testing equipment, chemicals, and material-handling tools.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support and uphold the BN Quality Policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge of SPC
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow established procedures and quality standards.
- Good speaking, hearing, and vision abilities.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Reasonable accommodation will be considered.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and mineral spirits.
- Overtime or weekend work may be required.
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 40 pounds
- Drug Test
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $27.00 - $27.00 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
