Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire) to operate, maintain, and repair ammonia and nitrogen refrigeration systems in a food-production environment. This role supports efficient freezing, storage, and plant cooling operations while ensuring safety, quality, and uptime.

Job Responsibilities
- Operate & maintain ammonia/nitrogen refrigeration systems, blast freezers, condensers, and chilled water systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & mechanical/electrical repairs
- Monitor gauges, logs & system data for performance
- Follow GMP, safety procedures & maintain clean work areas
- Read manuals/blueprints; order parts; support other maintenance techs as needed
- 1-3 years of hands-on industrial ammonia refrigeration experience
- Experience with vacuum systems, screw compressors, storage/freezer systems
- Nitrogen flash freezer experience preferred
- Electrical, pipe fitting, pneumatics & hydraulics experience helpful
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 50 pounds
- Drug Test
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $35.85 - $35.85 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
