Description
We are seeking a Processor to play a key role in the daily operations of our facility by safely sorting, processing, and preparing incoming organic materials. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs. Shift: 1st shift starting around 6 or 7 am

Job Responsibilities
- Sort, inspect, and process incoming organic and recyclable materials according to established procedures.
- Operate processing equipment such as conveyors, grinders, crushers, pumps, balers, and other material handling equipment.
- Monitor material flow to help ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate production and operational records as needed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized while maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Properly wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Assist with other operational duties as assigned.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, changing weather conditions, and moving equipment.
- Strong attention to safety and ability to follow established procedures.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, recycling, warehouse, agriculture, food production
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Experience operating industrial processing equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Indoor and outdoor work in an industrial processing environment.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting throughout the workday.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, odors, and moving machinery.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
