Description

We are seeking a Testing Service Technician to join a growing R&D team in Westlake, OH. This hands-on role supports battery testing, product quality, and innovation initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

  • Pay Rate: $21.70
  • Shift: 1st, Monday-Friday, flexible start time, 8-hour shift

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, label, and organize battery samples for testing.
  • Operate testing equipment including battery test cabinets, ovens, and mechanical testing equipment.
  • Load and remove batteries according to testing plans and schedules.
  • Complete laboratory support tasks, including battery disposal and inventory management.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Strong math and general science aptitude.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a technical, laboratory, manufacturing, or related environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and ability to learn new software.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work performed in a technical laboratory environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual tasks.
  • Required use of PPE, including safety glasses and gloves; face shields and respirators may be required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Associate Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Background Check
  • Able to Lift 40 pounds

  • Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $21.70 - $21.70 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
