We are seeking a Testing Service Technician to join a growing R&D team in Westlake, OH. This hands-on role supports battery testing, product quality, and innovation initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Pay Rate: $21.70
- Shift: 1st, Monday-Friday, flexible start time, 8-hour shift

Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, label, and organize battery samples for testing.
- Operate testing equipment including battery test cabinets, ovens, and mechanical testing equipment.
- Load and remove batteries according to testing plans and schedules.
- Complete laboratory support tasks, including battery disposal and inventory management.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Demonstrate initiative in identifying and resolving issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Strong math and general science aptitude.
- 2-5 years of experience in a technical, laboratory, manufacturing, or related environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and ability to learn new software.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Work performed in a technical laboratory environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual tasks.
- Required use of PPE, including safety glasses and gloves; face shields and respirators may be required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 40 pounds
- Drug Test
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $21.70 - $21.70 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
