Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Battery Test Lab Technician to support hands-on testing and evaluation activities within a battery testing laboratory. This position involves performing process-driven testing work, including battery tear-downs, measurements, weighing components, recording observations, and accurately documenting test results.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
- Pay: $23.00-$25.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable in a laboratory or controlled environment, and can consistently follow established procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on battery tear-down and testing activities following established procedures.
- Record test results, measurements, weights, and visual observations accurately.
- Inspect components and document findings throughout the testing process.
- Organize samples, materials, equipment, and test documentation.
- Follow standardized processes and maintain consistency during repetitive testing activities.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of testing and observations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with lab procedures.
- Follow all applicable safety requirements and testing protocols.
- Communicate unusual findings, discrepancies, or testing concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory, testing, manufacturing, quality, technical, or similar hands-on environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately record data.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, process-oriented work.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow written procedures.
- Comfortable using basic measurement tools and recording weights and observations.
- Ability to work independently while following established processes and safety requirements.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Dependable and able to maintain a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.
