Looking for a new opportunity as a Utility Worker? We are seeking an independent, reliable Utility Worker for our weekend night shift to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our premises. This role focuses on interior/exterior painting, general cleaning, and light repairs, requiring an individual who is comfortable working autonomously to ensure high facility standards.

7 pm until 4:30 am, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: $16.67/hr.

Job Responsibilities

  • Painting & Surface Prep: Prepare, paint, and touch up interior walls, trim, and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Patch, spackle, and sand wall surfaces to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Cleaning & Janitorial: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and deep clean floors, hallways, and common areas. Sanitize restrooms and kitchens and stock supplies as needed.
  • Light Maintenance & Repairs: Replace light bulbs and fixtures. Perform minor repairs, including fixing broken locks, repairing drywall, and patching holes.
  • Independent Operations: Self-manage daily tasks based on overall priorities rather than minute-by-minute supervision. Proactively identify repair needs and report them, rather than waiting for instructions.
  • Safety & Organization: Maintain, organize, and inventory cleaning and maintenance supplies. Ensure all tools and equipment are stored properly and maintained in good working condition

  • Ability to see/hear and distinguish sounds and signs that alert, instruct, or notify one of danger, such as warning signs, horns, alarms, speech, and vehicular/pedestrian traffic
  • Ability to coordinate the maneuvering of varied bilateral hand and foot controls at a rapid pace
  • Ability to utilize personal protective equipment, which may include gloves, safety harnesses, and safety shoes
  • Flexibility to work in either a hot or cold work environment

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $16.67 - $16.67 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
