Job Responsibilities
- Assures that tank/compartment has an updated safe for hot work ticket and that requirements of the ticket have been met.
- Assures that conditions of the tank/compartment have not changed since the ticket was written.
- Assures that a Work Authorization Form (WAF) ticket is on the job site and that it is for the specific job being accomplished, no work will be accomplished without a WAF posted at location of repairs.
- Assures that any other safety issues are complied with that relate to the specific job being accomplished.
- Assures that you are trained or qualified for the work you are assigned to do.
- Assures that you and personnel working under your direction are working as safely and as productively as possible maintaining quality control at all times.
- Assures that the job site is left in a safe and clean condition prior to departure.
- Assures that personnel have a work package and the necessary drawings, technical manuals, or specifications required for them to adequately accomplish their work assignments.
- Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.
- Must have reliable record of attendance and punctuality and be available for overtime as required.
- Must be able to physically transit all areas of the facility.
- Must have good eye/hand coordination.
- Must be familiar with working in a naval-ship-work-environment and be able to go aboard marine vessels · These areas can be dirty, dusty, hot or cold, and noisy.
- Must have or soon acquire a valid passport.
Associate Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED
- Background Check
- Able to Lift 50 pounds
- Drug Test
- Must be at least 18 years old
The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $35.00 - $35.00 per hour.
This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
