Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to assemble electronic products and components while supporting our commitment to quality and operational excellence. In this hands-on role, you will work with electronic and mechanical assemblies, power tools, automated equipment, and quality inspection processes to ensure products meet customer and company standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing, assembly, or electronics experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment and take pride in producing high-quality work.

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Conversion Opportunity: Associates who successfully convert to a permanent employee after 520 hours worked and maintain good attendance and performance will receive:

  • $1,000 conversion bonus
  • Pay increase to $21.00 per hour
  • Shifts: 1st shift, M-F 8 am-4:30 pm

Job Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic products and subassemblies according to work instructions and production schedules.
  • Read and interpret electronic work orders, assembly instructions, and product specifications.
  • Retrieve parts and materials from inventory locations.
  • Perform hand assembly of electronic and mechanical components.
  • Operate powered screwdrivers and other hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Load and position components into fixtures and assembly equipment.
  • Operate automated assembly and screw-driving equipment.
  • Perform basic soldering on wires, cables, and electronic components.
  • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and quality standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections of completed assemblies.
  • Identify and report defects, equipment concerns, and material shortages.
  • Maintain accurate production records.
  • Support incoming product inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Assist with additional production-related duties as assigned.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support product assembly, testing, and process development activities.

  • Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate production software.
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions and assembly documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and crouch throughout the workday.
  • Frequent use of hands for assembly and repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to perform detailed visual inspections of small parts and assemblies.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
