Description

Join our team as a Reach Truck Driver! In this role, Deep Reach Truck Driver's responsibilities include loading and unloading products, transporting materials to designated areas, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Work is performed in a warehouse environment where temps range from 0 to 50 degrees. The operator must follow safety protocols and support overall warehouse operations. Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and adherence to safety standards are essential for this role. Deep reach driver gets product off racks and puts it on the floor for order selectors.

  • 2nd shift position, starting at 2:00pm - until the job is done, usually 10:00pm-11:00pm
  • Weekend shifts available
  • Pay is $19.60 - $21.60 / hour

Job Responsibilities

  • Conducts oneself and operates equipment and acts in accordance with all company policies, safety rules, regulations, laws, including wearing proper personal protective equipment.
  • Conducts oneself in a positive professional manner at all times.
  • Takes advantage of all opportunities to attend training sessions to upgrade knowledge. 
  • Continually recommend measures to improve production and quality methods, equipment performance and use, safety and workplace environment. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Resume required.
  • 3 years of experience on Deep/Reach Truck.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations.
  • Principles, practices and methods of inventory control and quality assurance.
  • Principles and practices of effective customer service. 
  • Reasoning, reading, language and communication skills, both oral and written are required on the job as well as basic mathematics.
  • The ability to follow specific directions and perform a variety of duties in an environment which may often change is a requirement.   
  • Work within precise standards of accuracy and within time limits and rates information using standards that can be measured or checked.
  • Ability to coordinate and perform multiple tasks at a fast pace. 
  • Ability to judge distances accurately. 
  • Ability to acquire and maintain required certifications. 
  • Ability to read gauges properly. 
  • The ability to get along with others and non-violence is required to consistently promote a positive team environment. 
  • The ability to attend work with punctuality is required on a regular and consistent basis. 
  • The ability to work as a productive and successful member of a group or team in the work environment is required.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $19.60 - $21.60 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
